Free Trash Disposal & Recycle Site

While there is no local trash pick-up, there is a free local county landfill disposal and recycle site for Salome residents located at the end of 68th Street North.  Whether it's a refrigerator, tires, household garbage, yard trimmings, old furniture, etc. disposal is free (check during operation hours with the disposal person always on-site for limits and exceptions).  

Hours: 

Winter Hours: October 1st -March 31st

Open: Sunday -Tuesday 7:30 am -2:30 pm

Summer Hours: April 1st - September 30th

Open: Sunday - Tuesday 6:00 am - 1:00 pm
